After our success at the Regional Championship West, one thing was clear: the German National Championship 2026 would be the most important championship in our team’s history. The best teams from all over Germany came together here, all with the same goal: the German national title and qualification for the STEM Racing World Finals 2026 in Singapore.
For weeks, we worked on the final details of our project. Every component of our race car was checked and optimized once again. At the same time, we revised our portfolios, improved our presentation and further developed our team stand. At this level, the smallest details often make the difference between victory and defeat.
On May 21, we set off for Neuburg an der Donau. Once again, the German National Championship was held at the Audi driving experience center, a place where we already had many special memories. After handing in our materials, setting up our team stand and completing the technical inspection, the tension among all the teams was clearly noticeable. Now, only performance mattered.
Our competition day began with the presentation, in which we introduced our entire project. Then came the heart of the competition: the race runs. Our car once again proved the intensive development work of the past months, setting the fastest race time of the entire German National Championship with 1.089 seconds. This earned us the Fastest Car award once again.
Next up was the team stand presentation, because STEM Racing is about far more than pure speed. Only the combination of engineering, presentation, portfolios, team stand and race performance determines the overall ranking. That made the suspense at the award ceremony all the greater.
When our team name was finally called, our joy was enormous: German National Runner-up 2026! We were also delighted to receive several special awards: Best Engineered Car, Verbal Presentation and, once again, the award for the fastest car of the competition.
And perhaps most importantly: together with Team Spectrum and Team Baltic Evolution, we were announced as one of the three German teams that will represent Germany at the STEM Racing World Finals 2026 in Singapore. A moment we won’t forget any time soon. Qualifying for the World Finals is the result of months of work, countless hours of development and exceptional team spirit.
The German National Championship closes a successful chapter for us, and at the same time, the biggest adventure of our STEM Racing journey so far is now beginning. In the coming months, we will continue to develop our car, bring our project up to international level and prepare intensively for the World Finals.
To conclude, we would once again like to say a heartfelt thank you.
A project like STEM Racing would not be possible without the support of many people. Our thanks go to our sponsors, who make this project possible in the first place, to our supervising teachers for their tireless commitment, and to all the families, friends and supporters who have accompanied us on this journey.
Thank you for your trust and your support.
The journey isn’t over yet: Singapore, here we come!
